Empower Signs Key Agreement with Al Habtoor Group: A Game Changer in District Cooling Services

Emirates Central Cooling Systems Corporation (Empower), a leading player in the district cooling industry, has recently inked a deal with Al Habtoor Group. This agreement will see Empower providing district cooling services to the Al Habtoor Tower, which is projected to be the world's largest residential building upon its completion. The services will cater to over 5,000 residents, delivering approximately 7,200 refrigeration tons, which is equivalent to 75% of the peak cooling capacity of the Burj Khalifa.

The Al Habtoor Tower, strategically located along Sheikh Zayed Road, will feature 1,701 residential units, retail spaces, and various amenities. The project, constructed by China Railway 18th Bureau Group Ltd, will be served from Empower's Business Bay district cooling plant starting from the second quarter of 2025.
