Dubai Taxi Company Strengthens Partnership with Hala, Maintains Market Dominance

Dubai Taxi Company PJSC, a leading mobility solutions provider in Dubai, has announced the extension of its operational agreement with Hala until the end of 2025. This move ensures the company's exclusive operation of taxis on the Hala platform until the end of 2024. The updated agreement includes improvements for driver benefits and operational processes, further strengthening the company's dominant position in the market.

As of June 2023, the company held a 44% market share, making it the largest taxi operator in Dubai. Its closest competitor only held a 22% share. Established in 1994, the company has expanded its operations beyond taxi services, offering a range of transportation solutions including VIP limousine services, bus services, and last-mile delivery bike services.

Over the past year, the company's taxis and limousines made 44 million trips, 42 million of which were taxi trips. The company operates more than 7,000 vehicles, 5,216 of which are taxis. This agreement with Hala is expected to further solidify the company's market position and potentially increase its market share.
