Resolution No. (388) of 2024 temporarily suspends trading of RAK Co. for White Cement & Construction Materials' shares on the ADX. This decision is made due to a coinciding Board of Directors meeting scheduled for 11:00 on 9-May-2024. The trading suspension will start from 09:00 on 9-May-2024 and will last until the meeting results are received by ADX. All heads of departments in ADX are required to execute the resolution in their respective fields. The resolution will be circulated to SCA, the concerned company, all departments at ADX, and all brokers accredited by ADX. The resolution was approved by the authorized person and issued on 03/05/2024.

The Emirates News Agency (WAM) and Al Qasimia University (AQU) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to boost cooperation in designing, organising, and delivering media training programmes. The MoU, signed by the Chancellor of AQU and the Director-General of WAM, also includes the exchange of knowledge and expertise in the media field. The partnership aims to develop joint training programmes that support the media sector and highlight sustainable development in the UAE. WAM's Director-General also chaired a meeting of the Federation of Arab News Agencies (FANA), discussing ways to increase cooperation and coordination among member news agencies.
