The Board of Directors of Foodco National Foodstuff PJSC met via video conference on March 18, 2024. Four board members were present, achieving an 80% quorum. The minutes from the previous meeting were approved, as was the financial statement for the period ending December 31, 2023, which reported a net loss of AED 14.588 million, an improvement from the net loss of AED 18.860 million in the same period of 2022. The Board decided to call for a General Assembly Meeting on April 23, 2024 (subject to MOE approval) and proposed no dividend distribution for the year 2023.
Resolution No. 324 of 2024 temporarily suspends trading of FOODCO NATIONAL FOODSTUFF PrJSC shares on the ADX due to a Board of Directors Meeting scheduled for 12:30 on 18-Mar-2024. The suspension will commence from 09:00 on 18-Mar-2024 until ADX receives the meeting results. The resolution mandates all department heads in ADX to enforce this decision in their respective fields.
