About Union Coop

The Union Coop was established by virtue of the Ministerial Resolution No. 31/2 issued on May 24, 1982 by the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, in order to improve its members socially and economically, and serve the community in its region of operation. The COOP's main activities include establishing and managing hypermarkets and shopping centers in the United Arab Emirates.

Union Coop is considered as one of the largest consumer cooperatives in the region with its (23) branches in addition to (4) shopping centers, that include retail chains under the brand name "COOP", which represents new concepts for shopping, as it includes (4) shopping outlets in addition to a branch store from the Mini Coop chain. Furthermore, Union Coop has implemented the concept of smart shopping in a number of its branches.
