Bayanat AI PLC, a public company limited by shares incorporated in the Abu Dhabi Global Market (the “Company”) acts as a holding company for its operating subsidiary, Bayanat GIQ PJSC (“Bayanat”). Bayanat was established on 4 February 2008 and initially focused on geographical information systems (“GIS”). Bayanat later expanded into geospatial and data analytics/artificial intelligence (“AI”), leveraging its trusted, high-quality data to provide products and solutions to the most discerning customer. Bayanat became a subsidiary of Mubadala in 2011 and, in 2016, became a division of Emirates Defence Industries Company (“EDIC”). Bayanat and IMKAN Properties have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to develop an autonomous and sustainable transportation infrastructure on SHA Island Emirates at AlJurf. Abu Dhabi-based company Bayanat, a provider of AI-powered geospatial solutions, reported a 47% increase in revenue for 2023, reaching AED 1.16 Billion. The company's net profit also rose by 15% to AED 232 Million. The growth in revenue was primarily driven by its Smart Operations Solutions and Smart Space Solutions. The company also achieved a zero-debt position in 2023. Despite the growth, net profit as a percentage of revenue was slightly lower due to strategic investments in talent, R&D, product strategy, and new organizational processes.
